• Doxycycline (Generic Doryx) is also contraindicated in patients who have asthma, penicillin allergies, history of diarrhea when taking any antibiotic, liver diseases (history of hepatitis, jaundice), kidney disease or mononucleosis, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special tests during treatment.

• Doxycycline (Generic Doryx) and pregnancy have been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of antibiotic treatment Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium while you are pregnant. Must discuss with your doctor first. Do not use Amoxicillin (Generic Amoxil) without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
