• Amoxicillin (Generic Amoxil®) is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhea; and infections of the ears, nose, throat, urinary tract, and skin.
• Amoxicillin (Generic Amoxil®) is also used in combination with other medications to eliminate H. pylori, the bacteria that cause ulcers.
• Antibiotics like Amoxicillin (Generic Amoxil®) will not work for colds, flu, and other viral infections.


Amoxicillin (Generic Amoxil®) Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

• Inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to Amoxicillin (Generic Amoxil®) or any other medications.
• Do not forget to tell your doctor and pharmacist what other prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take.
• You may have upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea while taking Amoxicillin (Generic Amoxil®).
