Usage, Directions, Indication and Instructions
This tab can be used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. This is also sometimes used to treat congestive heart failure. This may also delay progression of diabetic nephropathy and is also indicated for the reduction of renal disease progression in patients with type 2 diabetes, hypertension and microalbuminuria. Talk to your doctor about the possible risks of using this medication for your condition. Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning
You should inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to it or any other medications. Do not forget to mention to your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and non-prescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking. This tab may cause side effects like dizziness, runny nose, sore throat so you should tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away. And if you experience other symptoms other than listed above, call your doctor immediately. Because this can cause hyperkalemia, potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium should not be used without consulting the prescribing physician.
Dosage and Administration
This is usually taken once or twice a day with or without food. To help you remember to take it, take it around the same time every day and take it exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
Important
This controls high blood pressure but does not cure it. Continue to take it even if you feel well. Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor.
