Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardis®) Usage, Directions, Indication and Instructions

• Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure.
• Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) is also sometimes used to treat congestive heart failure.
• Be cautious or inform your doctor if you have or have ever had heart failure or kidney or liver disease.

Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardis®) Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

• Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction of Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®): hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat feeling light-headed, fainting or fast or pounding heartbeats.
• Do not take Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) if you are pregnant.
• If you become pregnant call your doctor immediately. Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) may harm the fetus.
• Do not drink alcohol, it may enhance the blood pressure lowering effect of Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®), which may result in dizziness or fainting.
• Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) may cause other side effects.
• Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while taking this medication.

Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardis®) Dosage and Administration

• Depending on which Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) strength you are taking, Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) is usually taken once a day with or without food with a full glass of water.
• To help you remember Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®), take it around the same time every day.
• Take Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) exactly as directed.
• Do not take Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

• Continue Telmisartan (Generic Micardis®, Pritor®, Micardi®) even if you feel well.
