• Venlafaxine (Generic EfexorŽ, Generic Efexor-XRŽ) is also sometimes used to treat hot flashes (hot flushes; sudden strong feelings of heat and sweating) in women who have experienced menopause ('change of life'; the end of monthly menstrual periods) or who are taking medication to treat breast cancer.
• Be sure to inform your physician of the other medications you are taking.

• Venlafaxine (Generic EfexorŽ, Generic Efexor-XRŽ) may cause side effects.
