• Metronidazole (Generic Flagyl®) is used mainly in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms, particularly anaerobic bacteria and protozoa.
• Metronidazole (Generic Flagyl®) eliminates bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections of the reproductive system, gastrointestinal tract, skin, vagina, and other areas of the body.

Metronidazole (Generic Flagyl®) Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

• You should inform your doctor if you are allergic to Metronidazole (Generic Flagyl®) or any other medications.
• Do not forget to mention to your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and non-prescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking and your medical history.
• Metronidazole (Generic Flagyl®) may cause side effects like vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach, loss of appetite and dry mouth.
