• Gliclazide (Generic Diamicron®) improves insulin production immediately after eating.

Gliclazide (Generic Diamicron®) Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

• Inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to Gliclazide (Generic Diamicron®) or any other medications.
• If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using Gliclazide (Generic Diamicron®) and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
• Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
• Do not forget to tell your doctor and pharmacist your medical history, the other prescription and non-prescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take.
• Gliclazide (Generic Diamicron®) is a type of medicine that can cause liver problems on rare occasions.
• For this reason, you should let your doctor know if you develop any of the following symptoms while taking Gliclazide (Generic Diamicron®), as they may indicate a problem with your liver such as; unexplained nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue, loss of appetite, darkened urine or yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes (jaundice).
