• Taking Telmisartan (Generic Micardis) may take 2 to 4 weeks before blood pressure is kept under control; it would be wise to keep taking Telmisartan as directed and to consult with your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks of Telmisartan treatment. If you are being treated with Telmisartan – Generic Micardis for high blood pressure, keep using Telmisartan even if you feel fine. High blood pressure often has no symptoms.
