Usage, Directions, Indication and Instructions

This is used to treat the symptoms of migraine headaches (severe, throbbing headaches that sometimes is accompanied by nausea or sensitivity to sound and light).

Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

Inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to it or any other medications. Do not forget to tell your doctor and pharmacist your medical history, what other prescription and non-prescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take. If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Stop taking this and call your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: Flushing, tingling feeling, feeling of warmth or heaviness, drowsiness, dizziness, upset stomach, diarrhea, vomiting, and irritation of the nose and muscle cramps.

Dosage and Administration

This should be used at the first sign of a migraine headache. If you are at risk for heart disease and you have never taken this before, you may need to take the first dose in your doctor's office. Usually only one dose is needed. If pain is not relieved with the first dose, your doctor may prescribe a second dose to be taken after at least 2 hours. Do not take more than 200 mg of the tablets.


Important

This does not prevent migraine attacks. Continue to take it even if you feel well. Do not stop without talking to your doctor.
