About Tadalafil

Tadalafil (Generic Cialis®) is in a class of medications called (PDE) phosphodiesterase inhibitors. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can cause an erection.

Usage, Directions, Indication and Instructions

This is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence; inability to get or keep an erection) in men. Do not take this if you have serious heart disease or have had a recent heart attack.

Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

If you become dizzy or nauseated, or have pain, numbness, or tingling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw during sexual activity, stop and call your doctor right away. You could be having a serious side effect. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome. This does not prevent pregnancy or the spread of sexually transmitted diseases such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). You should know that sexual activity may be a strain on your heart, especially if you have heart disease. If you have chest pain during sexual activity, call your doctor immediately and avoid sexual activity until your doctor tells you otherwise. Stop using this and get emergency medical help if you have sudden vision loss. Avoid drinking alcohol, which can increase some of the side effects.

Dosage and Administration

The product should be allowed to dissolve in the mouth before it is swallowed. This is taken once a day every day with or without food with a full glass of water. If you are taking this on a regular schedule, take it at around the same time every day. Take it exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will probably start you on an average dose and increase or decrease your dose depending on your response to the medication.

Important

Do not take this more than once a day. Allow 24 hours to pass between doses. Contact your doctor or seek emergency medical attention if your erection is painful or lasts longer than 4 hours. A prolonged erection (priapism) can damage the penis.
