Usage, Directions, Indication and Instructions

This is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhea; and infections of the ears, nose, throat, urinary tract, and skin. It is also used in combination with other medications to eliminate H. pylori, the bacteria that cause ulcers.
Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, and other viral infections.

Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

Inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to it or any other medications. Do not forget to tell your doctor and pharmacist what other prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take. You may have upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea while taking the medication. This may cause other side effects. Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while taking this medication.

Dosage and Administration

It is usually taken every 12 hours (twice a day) or every 8 hours (three times a day) with or without food. To help you remember to take this, take it around the same time every day and take it exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Important

Take until you finish the prescription, even if you feel better. Stopping this too soon may cause bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics. Take strictly in accordance with your Doctors’ advice.
