Usage, Directions, Indication and Instructions

This is used to relieve the allergy symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis ('hay fever'), including runny nose; sneezing; red, itchy, or watery eyes; or itching of the nose, throat, or roof of the mouth in adults and children 2 years of age and older. It is also used to relieve symptoms of urticaria (hives; red, itchy raised areas of the skin), including itching and rash in adults and children 6 months of age and older.

Adverse Reactions, Precautions and Warning

Inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to it or any other medications. Do not forget to tell your doctor and pharmacist what other prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take. Stop using this medication and get emergency medical help if you think you have used too much medicine, or if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Dosage and Administration

Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis: 120mg daily as a single dose or in two divided doses.
Urticaria: 180mg a day.
Take it at around the same time(s) every day and exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Important

This controls the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis and urticaria but does not cure these conditions. Continue even if you feel well and are not experiencing these symptoms. If you wait too long between doses, your symptoms may become worse.
